Data Prayers
As modern humans we find ourselves, through the scientific and
technological acquisition of knowledge, in a never ending search for
meaning. This project presents a near future where our understanding
of the world and ourselves continues to grow in dramatic ways, as does
our understanding of the things we don’t know. We meet Solene, a young
woman who begins to feel dissatisfaction and disillusionment with the
answers this type of search provides. We hear of her coming to terms
with the idea that perfect knowledge will never be possible, and see
her find new, surprising, and satisfying answer to these data prayers.
