"It is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring." - Carl Sagan
Our current design and business approaches have a significant problem. They reduce problems, so that we have something to solve for, and then celebrate our “solutions.” But in reality we have no idea what we’ve done. We have solved for a piece of the whole in a system where nothing exists in isolation. This project seeks to understand these failures of scope and scale, and find answers to how we might more completely engage with our complex and computationally irreducible world. In a nod to Stephen Wolfram’s work, we must work to find a whole New Kind of Design.
